Over the last couple of decades, I have spent the majority of my professional time leading some of the most amazing teams at every level of the corporate structure. It is through that work, that I discovered my passion for development – specifically for mentoring and coaching women to become their very best selves.

As a woman, a black woman, in corporate America I quickly noticed, as I walked into meeting after meeting, there weren’t many that looked like me, that had the same experiences as me, that could relate to the life that I lived outside of the walls of any corporate structure. I therefore decided to dedicate my life to being the solace for women as they sought to take on corporate journeys similar to mine.

The LIT Lifestyle

I personally live my life based on three guiding principles –
loyalty, integrity, and tenacity.


Loyalty

Remaining loyal to the things that matter most to you is essential to finding happiness in your success. Whether it is faith, family, financial stability or other things, remaining loyal to those things and your guiding principles make the decision making process simple.

Integrity

Your name and your reputation are your most valuable possessions in your career. Keeping true to the brand that you have built and living with integrity within it is even more important than your skill set. When you ca be trusted, you are valued.

Tenacity

Things don't happen over night. Anything worth having is worth working for, so keep at it. Chase your dreams with tenacity. Your dreams will come true.
 

I guess you could say I live a “LIT” life and utilize those principles to assist others in doing the same.
